Sometimes A Great Notion
On Strength, Weakness & Logging, From Ken Kesey

By Aaron Posner. Adapted from the novel by Ken Kesey.

As an Oregonian, adapting the greatest novel of the Pacific Northwest was a project near and dear to my heart. I think Kesey’s novel is truly brilliant, and still has important things to say about our national character and who we are as human beings and as a society. I hope this play still someday finds a wider audience. I think it is a story well worth telling...
“...an artistic triumph worthy of its lineage.”
